Same. I wore one in high school, but as an adult I've probably worn a watch less than 10 times in the last 15 years. I can't stand wearing one.

I used to wear a watch all the time, a St. Moritz titanium chrono was my go-to. T hen I was in a motorcycle accident and destroyed my left forearm; crystal was smashed, arm was smashed (double compound) , wrist was smashed. T he emergency room guys had to remove the kevlar band manually, because they couldn’t cut it. T hat sucked, but it was really the aftermath that put me off watches. Was in a cast or brace for ~6 months, when I finally got that crap off my arm I never wanted anything on it ever again.

My Casio AE-1000W-1AVCF. It’s my everyday beater since I tend to bump into things a lot lol. I dressed it up with a NATO strap though so it looks and feels a lot nicer.

Not really that well versed on the whole, while I like watches my knowledge is somewhat limited. The default in that range seems to be S ei ko, they seem have a litany of choices for any budget.
